The Winnipeg Labour Council’s Education Committee is excited to present Jane McAlevey for a two-part tour. This free public event will be followed by a book launch and public talk at McNally Robinson on November 3rd.

Jane McAlevey is a union and community organizer, author and activist based in the United States. She is a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Labor and Worklife Program at Harvard Law School.

A longtime organizer in the environmental and labour movements, Jane is the author of No Shortcuts: Organizing for Power in the New Gilded Age and Raising Expectations (and Raising Hell): My Decade Fighting for the Labor Movement.
